Truth and Love

A Bible Study on the Books of 2 and 3 John with Dr. Mark Rae

2 John and 3 John are two personal letters—one to the church and one to an individual, both written by the Apostle John around the early 60’s A.D. right before the outbreak of the Jewish war against the Romans in Palestine in 66 AD. 2 John has been called a summary letter of 1 John.

Apostle John wrote these letters to charge the church and believers to live life in truth and love. From these two little epistles, we get theological, ethical, and practical truths that are fundamental to the church and the believer every day. In these letters we see that Jesus is one with God and with us; that love and righteousness are indispensable to the believer who seeks to walk in the light; and that unity is a demand laid on the church at all times.

Dive into the Apostle John’s letters and learn about the foundations of truth and love, and how they together behave in our upcoming Bible Study brought to you by Grace Center for Spiritual Development.
